About the Author

Chance Unger is an experienced orthopedic and sports medicine physical therapist out of Lincoln, Nebraska and the founder of the STRIDE Running Clinic. He has worked with runners for well over a decade, providing treatment and skills designed to facilitate rapid recovery of injuries, injury prevention, and overall performance enhancement for individuals who are novice or experienced runners. 

 

Chance teaches several courses and lectures routinely on running. Over a decade of clinical practice and applied coaching have become the basis for his book, STRIDE for Stride.

 

He has a special interest integrating optimal biomechanics, coaching, and clinical treatment into one and a passion for combining his personal and clinical skill set so that each person can see and be encouraged at their own capacity to be great.

 

He has completed studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, University of Nebraska Medical Center, and gained further specialization through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.
